ABOUT DUET
THE PIANO DUO  IVANNA OMAR IS A DUET WITH BASE IN BAJA CALIFORNIA MEX. FORMED BY THE SISTER AND BROTHER GUTIERREZ OMAR E IVANNA. Acclaimed for  dynamic interpretation, A POWERFUL stage presence and elegance, PIANO DUO COMBINE OMAR-IVANNA inheritances and temperaments LATIN AMERICA AND EUROPE. Since its creation in 2010, the duo has performed in concerts and festivals and ORIGINAL WORKS RELEASING BY THE SAME OMAR GUTIERREZ with great success on two continents (North America and Europe.) 
 

 

 

 

 

In 2013 they made a concert tour of Spain along with professionally recorded his DEBUT album with the European Recording Studios Calma Estudi in Palma of Mallorca, where they have been recognized for their great performance and musical expression.

OUR SECOND CD ''THE ART OF TWO PIANOS''

 Is the culmination of our work of the past few years. We have explored and performed a large repertoire together and certain pieces became an instant hit with audiences making works such as Mexican musica like Marquez's Danzón no.2 , Piazzolla’s Tangos, Saint Saens Macabre Dance, etc. a staple in our repertoire. From the very beginning, dance has been a prominent part of our recital programs and we’ve had a blast touring with our Two pianos Repertory shows  naturally, for our second album, we chose a selection of our beloved pieces combining audience favorites.

 

 

 

FOWARDS STUDIOS (ITALY)

We are excited to be teaming up with the sound engineer Marcello Spiridioni, who has worked with some of the top names in the classical and conteporean music field.

Recording and editing will take place at his FOWARDS STUDIOS in Roma , It.. We are also working with a great team of talented individuals who will help us shape, design and promote the CD. We plan on launching the CD late sumer 2016.
